Moderation Policy
Moderation is done by people. We do not use automated systems to decide whether a complaint is published.
This is a plain-language summary published with the first version of Complain Here and is not legal advice. Complain Here is an independent platform. We are not a government agency, a law firm, or an official dispute-resolution authority.
The queue
Every new complaint enters a review queue. Simple text patterns can flag a complaint for extra attention — for example an apparent card number — but a moderator makes every decision.
Possible outcomes
Published as written. Returned to you for an edit with a reason. Removed if it breaks our content guidelines or the law.
What we do not do
We do not remove a complaint because a company asks us to, and we do not rewrite or soften your allegations.
We do not judge whether a company is legally at fault.
Appeals
If your complaint was removed and you believe that was wrong, reply to the notification and a different moderator will look at it.
