Terms of Use

These terms explain what you can expect from Complain Here and what we expect from you.

This is a plain-language summary published with the first version of Complain Here and is not legal advice. Complain Here is an independent platform. We are not a government agency, a law firm, or an official dispute-resolution authority.

Who can use the platform

You must be at least 18 and live in the United States to file a complaint. You need a confirmed email address before anything you write is published.

You may only file complaints about your own experience with a company.

What you post

You keep responsibility for what you write. Complaints must be truthful accounts of your own experience. We publish your words as written and do not rewrite or soften them.

Do not post other people's private information, payment details, or content you do not have the right to share.

What businesses can do

A verified business can publicly respond and propose a resolution. A business cannot edit, hide, delete, or pay to change complaints, metrics, or placement.

What we can do

We may decline to publish, request an edit, or remove content that breaks our content guidelines or the law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform.

We do not decide who is legally right, award compensation, or enforce any outcome.

No warranty

The platform is provided as-is. Company records reflect what people report here and nothing more. A company with no complaints has no record here — that is not an endorsement.
